This is a list of actors from the little and big screen, and the small roles they had before their big break. I'm not looking for what a particular actor did outside of acting, I'm looking more for bit roles and TV commercials. I think you could just write down waiter for almost any actor if you really wanted to if that were the case.

The older sister Tia who gets into trouble, in "Uncle Buck".
George Clooney
George Burnett on "The Facts of Life" (as Jo's boyfriend)
Vincent D'Onofrio
Dawson the mechanic/Thor in "Adventures in Babysitting".
Brian Austin Green
In 1989, Brian starred in a Kellogg's Corn Pops commercial in which he became angry that his two buddies ate a whole box of cereal on him. In his head he thinks that his friends didn't leave any cereal for him, then he finds out that his buddies were just kidding. The commercial ends with him saying "You think you fooled me?"? And he thinks to himself. "I've gotta have my pops."
Paul Reubens
He played the vampire sidekick in original "Buffy, The Vampire Slayer" movie. He's the guy that loses an arm and keeps on going.
Leah Remini
In "Saved By The Bell", she played Stacy Corossi during the summer episodes where the gang worked at a resort.
Samuel L. Jackson
Played the role of Mister Loving Daddy in the 1989 film "Do The Right Thing".
William H. Macy
He appears in the movie "The Last Dragon" as the producer or maybe manager for Vanity's cheesy video music box meets soul train type show. He's wearing some crazy 80's outfit as he yells at Vanity to get on the stage.
Andrew Dice Clay
He was billed as Andy Clay in the movie "Night Patrol", which co-starred with The Unknown Comic (Murray Langston), Pat Paulsen, Linda Blair, and Billy Barty.
John Larroquette
He was the narrator for the horror film "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" circa 1974.
Laura Innes
A small role in the movie "The Fury" a horror movie starring Kirk Douglas and Amy Irving, who also starred in "Carrie" by Stephen King.
Megan Mullally
She played a hairstylist with a reputation for sleeping around that went our with Joe on "Wings".
Helen Hunt
Played a pothead on "Facts of Life" for one episode when Blair brought Sue Ann to the "cool" girls room (Tumpy), where they are offered pot and Tootie interrupts them and gets a lesson on bongs!
Tyra Banks
Student/Track & Field athlete in movie called "Higher Learning".
