ABC, "The Lexicon of Love" / 1982 Review by: Patrick McClanahan
This album is a must have for any ABC fans. If you liked "How to Be a Millionaire" you'll love this album. In a sense, you could call this a "concept" album in that most of the songs deal with the disillusionment of a soured relationship. Forget the subject matter, this album is upbeat in spite of itself. Besides some of the better known tunes such as "Look of Love" and "Poison Arrow" listen to the catchy "Date Stamp" and "Many Happy Returns". Almost every song on this album could have been a hit in it's own right. In a nutshell, it's an album that should be enjoyed in it's entirety.

10 out of 10.
