Boston, "Third Stage" /
1986
Review by: Chris Boyle
Boston is one of the biggest bands of all time, & this album proves it. It was released 8 years after Boston's last album "Don't Look Back". And what a comeback! The album reached #1 on the Billboard charts, & the lead off single "Amanda" also reached #1 & became one of the biggest songs of that year & one of Boston's biggest songs ever. The second single off the album "We're Ready", reached #9 on the charts, one of Boston's biggest ever also. The third single "Can'tcha Say(You Believe In Me)/Still In Love" reached #20. The last single "Hollyann" diddn't reach the charts, but the album was a fenominal success, & is an outstanding alnum. One of the best in the 80's.
