Bruce Springsteen, "Live 1975-1985" /
1985
Review by: Ray Davidson
From the start of this lengthy live album, it grips you with profound emotional realism. Bruce is the ultimate live act, and as "The Boss" he shows audiences he's in charge. For instance, what other artist has conversations with his audiences about "goin' at it with dad" or "failing physicals". Live 1975- 85, is a baptism into the amazing envrionment of a Springsteen concert (which are very hard to get into). Bruce is probably one of the coolest people in the history of rock and probably will be for a long time, and this selection of live cuts, the listener will not only hear this, they will live it.
10 out of 10.
