Cyndi Lauper, "True Colors" /
1986
Review by: Andy Zeffer
Contains the beautiful, haunting title track "True Colors". Also the upbeat "Change of Heart" which has backing vocals by the Bangles, another great eighties act. The album also has a soundbite by Pee-Wee Herman (Cyndi sang the theme song to his television show "Pee-Wee's Playhouse", some eighties trivia for you). Now how can any album be more eighties!? The album cover is also very beautiful.
