Da Vinci, "Da Vinci" /
1987
Review by: Alanna
1987 was a great year for the music industry, but unfortunately it rarely turned its attention to where it should have. Da Vinci was another band that struggled then faded away into nothingness. However, they were definitely one of the finest of the Scandi bands with their over-the-top keyboard dynamics, pianos creating a vivid tapestry, guitars that never overrun the song but have quite a presence throughout and honest earthy vocals with just the hint of an accent. The kind of delicious melodic treat that falls in the same categories as TNT, Return, Skagarack, Treat, Madison and of course the ever popular Europe.
