Dio, "Holy Diver" / 1983 Review by: Michael Rohm
After parting less than peacefully with Black Sabbath, Ronnie James Dio had something to prove and prove it he did with this landmark album. This is simply RJD at his best - aside from "Shame on the Night" (just isn't a favourite of mine) Ronnie offers an excellent CD full of early 80s metal. A little dated and cliche, yes, but never boring.
