HSAS, "Through the Fire" / 1984 Review by: Tim Browning
Originally released in 1984 and again in 1997, HSAS (Hagar, Schon, Aaronson, & Shrieve) rocked devoted Hagar fans around the world. Although HSAS didn't skyrocket across the airwaves on any of the billboards top 10, the song tracks presented that Hagar appeal as only Hagar fans would know. With Sammy on vocals, Neal Schon on Guitars, Kenny Aaronson on the Bass, and Michael Shrieve on Drums, the band kicked kicked out 9 tunes:
  1. Top of the Rock
  2. Missing You
  3. Animation
  4. Valley of the Kings
  5. Giza
  6. Whiter Shade of Pale
  7. Hot and Dirty
  8. He Will Understand
  9. My Home Town
HSAS was recorded under the Geffen Label and is available on cassette and compact disc. Its too bad that they only recorded one album. The style with which they played can be seen in many of todays popular groups.

9 out of 10.
