Jesus and the Mary Chain, "Darklands" / 1987 Review by: Eduardo Guimarães
Right after the riff of "Darklands" begins, you realise that this is a classic album. The sadness in every word of the songs makes you wanna cry, a cry of joy, for listening this wonderful Reid`s brothers masterpiece.

Songs like "Happy When it Rains" and "April Skies" are eternal, ´cause only a few songwriters can get close to the sensibility that these brothers have. These are just some reasons to listen to "Darklands". The others you will find when the first song begins to play. Then you´ll understand what I´m saying. eduardoegs
