John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, "Eddie and the Cruisers The unreleased Tapes" /
1991
Review by: Mike Furman
This band played for the movie "Eddie and the Cruisers". The movie didnt do great in the theaters, but when it hit hbo and Cinemax it turned the tide. The music of the movie comes alive with John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. The harmonies, the sax the voices. This is a movie that got lost in the shuffle. Tom Beranger and Tony Patilofo who are big name stars were in it. The movie has a plot and feels like it really happened. If you like good toe tapping, Rock with rythm and great lyrics this is the CD. The music feels like it is out of the 50's but has that fresh 90's tone.
