Johnny Hates Jazz, "Turn Back The Clock" / 1988 Review by: Mr. Media
One hit wonders were rampant in the eighties, but other than The Buggles, ABC, and the Georgia Satelites, none really amassed good albums. Johnny Hates Jazz is a jazz and rock band, ironically. Known for their hit "Shattered Dreams", they prove that they were just more than that by creating a jazz album not easy listening. It should have broken Kenny G's strangle-hold on music, but it didn't. Exceptional tunes, minus 3, make it a good, definite album.

9 out of 10.
