While recording his last album with camper van beethoven, he would go into the studio and make a strange, vanguard folk album. This is just 73 minutes of sheer art rock. he manages to be experimental keeping in line with the pop music. Something for everyone, even a warped rendition of "Tommy" on a harpsichord. 10 out of 10
