Josie Cotton, "Convertible Music" /
1982
Review by: Bill
This is top of the line 80s music. Josie Cotton was typical of many bands of the early 80s whose music borrowed from the up beat tempo of punk yet couldn't really be classified as New Wave. Missing Persons and Flock of Seaguls come to mind as other examples. However, Josie adds a twist in by making Convertible Music the beach music of the 80s, making everyone who listens to it think of driving down the streets of sunny Southern California with the top down. It's out of print, but well worth the effort to track it down if you like music of the early eighties.
9 out of 10.
