Kim Wilde, "Another Step" / 1986 Review by: Peter Ostmann
If you only buy one Kim Wilde album in your life, it should be "Another Step," with which the singer followed up her dreary early years. It's a highly energetic album with twelve plain good pop songs, including the hits "You Keep Me Hangin' On" and "Schoolgirl." Musically, the album is not spectacularly innovative - although Ms. Wilde certainly had matured since her "Kids in America" phase - but it is the fun of every decent '80s party.

7.5 out of 10.
