The first album, songs like "Holiday" and "Burning Up" still get airplay today after 17 years. Other singles, such as the lead off "Lucky Star" and "Borderline" helped propel her to stardom in the mainstream and take her out of the dance clubs where songs like "Everybody" and "Physical Attraction" pounded the club floors. Though other songs such as "I Know It" and "Think Of Me" are very disco, the album is catchy, fun and and invocative of what obviously inspired wannabes.
