METALLICA, "Kill'em All" / 1983 Review by: Alberto
Ok, there's no much to say about this album. It's the first Metallica's album. In 1982, it was an extremely new album. Their thrash metal was new, with something melodic, but cartainly not pop. You can hear here four young musicians, but with a very strong personality and great technique. Most bands can't reach these levels even today, and this was only a debut album.

Along with the years Metallica have reached other high points, but this is one of the Highest. "Kill'em all" also has an instrumental track, "Anesthesia (Pulling teeth)", which is the only instrumental track made only with bass I have ever heard; simply fantastic.

You can't lose songs like "The four Horsemen" "Motorbreath" "Seek and Destry" and "Phantom Lord".

RATE= 10. like all Metallica albums
