Ozzy Osbourne, "Bark at the Moon" /
1983
Review by: Michael Rohm
I don't think that this album is as good as Diary of a Madman, due to the loss of Randy Rhoades. Jake E. Lee is a good player, but apparently Ozzy and Jake didn't "jive" the way Ozzy and Randy did, so the songs weren't as powerful. Plus, Jake didn't have the classical leanings that made Randy's style unique. But regardless, the disc is good. The songs can't really stand up to the songs on the first two albums, but taken on their own merits, it's still an excellent Ozzy CD and well worth buying.
8 out of 10.
