Pointer Sisters, "Break Out" /
1983
Review by: Alex Honda
This album is the biggest-selling album in the Pointer Sisters career, spawning four top 10 hits; 'Jump', 'Automatic', 'Neutron Dance', and the re-released, 'I'm So Excited'. Released on record producer Richard Perry's Planet label, the album embodies the high-energetic sound and found a niche with music lovers just as the British invasion part 2 (Beatles/Rolling Stones were part 1)and New Wave music was hitting the airwaves.
