Prince, "Purple Rain" / 1984 Review by: Doug
Prince's best (and most commercial) album is definitely a must-have. Incuding the #1 hits "When Doves Cry" and "Let's Go Crazy", as well as 3 songs taken from a live concert performance. Using lots of synths, electric guitars, and sexual lyrics, this album is the ultimate combination of 80's funk and rock.
