Siouxsie and the Banshees, "The Rapture" /
1995
Review by: Steve Sauer
The Rapture is a lukewarm final album for Siouxsie and the Banshees. The mix is squashed and Sioux's voice is rough. This album is much more a mainstream rock album than their previous efforts (since Juju). The first single, O Baby, is a saccharine pop song that appeals to non-fans.
There are two outstanding tracks on the record, though. They are: Fall from Grace, and Tearing Apart. The album in general is good, but not interesting.
