Slayer, "Reign In Blood" / 1986 Review by: Timothy Laurie
From the deepest wound of the rotting art form that was popular music in 1986 came 'Reign In Blood', the greatest acheivement of savagery known to thrash. This is the ultimate: an album that blows the mind numb. It's like an evil addiction; it shocks and alienates at first, but soon you're hooked into the torment and abslute dependence. From the first moments of 'Angel Of Death', to the last moments of 'Raining Blood', this album tears through everything you ever believed about thrash.

This album changed me as a person. It's an experience I would recommend for anyone who BELIEVES in music. But not for the light hearted...
