The Colourfield, "Virgins and Philistines" / 1986 Review by: Mr. Media
Believe it or not, Terry Hall actually did music after the Specials and Fun Boy Three. Quite a treat and appeals mostly to those who like the Beach Boys. However, the audiences of the 1980's were not sophisticated enough to get it. It failed after only one single charted. However, the band did survive this and later became a quartet and continued on until they broke up in the early 90's. I felt that this band was like Kathy Lee Gifford at the Apollo Theater- trying their best but ultimately unnoticed.
