The Feelies, "Crazy Rhythms" / 1982 Review by: Adam Schmidt
The Velvet Underground has never sounded so cool. They take their infatuation with the group and raise it to a new level. Their lead guitar just flows in and out of the songs, and their drummer sounds like a rabid apache with an axe. Not only that, they take Lou Reed ( the only real street poet rocker) and make his lyrics even darker. The album sounds even better if you drink too much coffee because.. well just listen to it.
