Without a doubt, The Smiths best work. New Music express lists it in the top 10 of all time. With Morrissey's stirring vocals cutting the way with Johnny Marrs amazing riffs following closely, songs like "There is a light that never goes out", "Cemetry Gates", and my favorite, "I know its over" have become classics. If you are new to Morrissey/Smiths albums, I'd recommend this as a wonderful starting point.
