Thomas Dolby, "The Golden Age of Wireless" /
1982
Review by: Maria
It's quite unfortunate that Thomas Dolby didn't get recognition for anything besides "She Blinded Me with Science", especially since his lyrics and music were a cut above most everyone else in his genre at the time. Must Listen Songs: Europa and the Pirate Twins, One of Our Submarines, Radio Silence. "One of Our Submarines", in particular, starts out echoed and sad, and then bursts into a fast-tempoed number that reminds you just exactly why you loved the 80s and its music. Synthesizers abound on this album, so if that's your thing, pick up "The Golden Age of Wireless". You won't regret it.
