Tiffany, "Tiffany" /
1987
Review by: Troy Herman
This debut set from the then unknown is really impressive if you forget about all the teen queen stuff. Her voice is actually quite strong for being a mere 15 yrs. when recorded. Even through the hokey numbers like the we-thought-it-was-a-good-idea-but-it-turned-out-wrong "I Saw Him Standing There". Tiffany's vibrant and exhuberant talents shine through. Has this become a classic album? A must have? For some but for the masses probably not. This collection is the 80's in it's cutest but not annoyingly so form. Tiffany was a fun ,energetic 16 yr. old girl. The music fit her and the teen set at the time perfectly. Strongest points-"Danny" & "Could've Been". Weakest Points- "I Saw Him Standing There".
