I found this, on the whole, far more enjoyable than the band's previous release.(Cos' Life Hurst, 85) The highlights (and obvious hits, "Don't Wake Me" and "I Am") don't shine quite so bright, but neither do the low points sink quite so low. "About You" is the only track that I don't ever want to hear again. Brian Mannix's voice was clearly suffering from too many live performances or too much of something. But if you're a die-hard fan like me, you'll scour your 2nd hand record store -I am yet to find this album on cd- all for the sake of hearing the 20-something blond spunkrat screaming out, "She thinks I'm on drugs, I'm on heat!"
