Top Ten Lists of Eighties Movies

The concept is pretty easily, pick your ten favorite movies from the eighties. The hard part? I want JUST movies from the eighties, not movies you might have seen during the eighties. Also, try and avoid movies that came out after the eighties if possible, 1990 is pretty borderline, I won't scream too loudly if you add one that is from then...

I didn't know how to put all of these movies into order.I think all of them should be numer two and The Goonies be number one like it is.:)

    Gave the word McFly to the english language...the sequels weren't even that bad....might be the 3rd best trilogy behind godfather and star wars

    Mr T alone made this movie worth seeing more than one time....but does anyone really think Mr T wouldnt pity the fool ?

    Teen angst at its best...when Anthony Michael Hall gets with the hottie , made tons of young guys have hope

    The best of the trilogy !! Reached quite a climax with Lando turning the tables on Han....Billy Dee had such an underated part in this film...Return of the Jedi was pale in comparison...

    While some may say it is just the Rocky of this generation..I agree in some ways.....gave us Wax on Wax off...which people still say today

    How did all those kids who had never danced before become such excellant dancers ??? Great movie that combined music to the movie to make it memorable

    Even though it is set in an earlier time...its still a great 80s flick....classic ensemble cast of 4 buddies on a road trip with memorable scenes in between of finding the destination

    Maybe not the biggest film people remember...but I thought it was awesome....story of 5 teams running around los angeles figuring out clues on how to reach a final destination....starred Michael J Fox and Flounder from Animal House..and the guy from american werewolf..I think his name is David Naughton

    Wonderful film that still holds up today...the lil hints in 1955 at what could happen in 1985 are classic

    It may be because I grew up in Baltimore , but I will always have a place in my heart for this film - it reminds me alot of what my parents told me about growing up in Baltimore...and the wedding with the colts fight song and blue and white balloons is classic

    Harrsion Ford one the best action of the flim and can't wait to see another fourth one.

    One is my favorite action and story of making pattern plot of all time. And great Sci-fi fun flim too. The new epoide 1 and 2 are good too.
I wonder what happen to E.T if come back again part 2. and I will looking forward to it to see it part 2 like back to see Elliot who already grown up with his sister role by Drew Barrymore. What about The Goonies 2?. And how about Flight Navigator 2?.

    classic 80s teen movie. everyone loves it. you can learn from this movie. john cusack looked pretty good in this movie too. even though he was a geek.
80s movies are great. even though im 15, i think that these were the best movies made. people just dont appreciate the movies or the music of the 80s. also mentioning : steel magnolias, back to the future, footloose, big, national lampoon's vaca., a christmas story, adventures in babysitting, nightmare on elm street, the blues brothers, an officer and a genleman, porky's, splash, stand by me, the princess bride, beetlejuice, et, big, rock n roll high school,the goonies, weird science, terminator, weekend at bernies
