I Liked It When I Saw It The First Time, Entries Beginning with W
This page is inspired by the comedy of David Spade. Yes, David Spade. During
his stay on Saturday Night Live, he would occasionally put things down that
seemed to copy things before them by saying something like "I liked 'Black Sheep'
the first time I saw it, when it was called 'Tommy Boy'". So this is my
attempt at ranking on the movies and
television programs of the nineties (and present) by
pointing out what they copied from the eighties. Since there always seems to
be a lot or unoriginal ideas in Hollywood, this should be an easy page to fill
up quickly.

WALL*E is like a miniature version of Johnny 5.
I liked "WWE" when it was called WWF
I liked "WWE" when it was called WWF
Vince Mcmahon and Jesse "the Body" annoucing or JR and Jerry Lawler no contest. Hogan, Andre the Giant, the Bushwackers, the Ultimate Warrior, and Rowdy Roddy Piper Versus The Rock, Austin, The Hardy Boys, Triple H and Chris Jerico. Hogan Hulkamaniacs vs the Rocks People. Bobby "the Brain" Heenan versus Paul Heyman. THE 80s RULE
I liked "WWE " when it was called WCW/NWA/WWF
Old school wrestling of the 80s, got to love that.
I liked "Wall*E" when it was called Johnny 5 from the movie "Short Circuit"
They didn't even change the look of the "J5". Wall-e is just a cheap imitation.
The WORST Hollywood rip-off in history
The WORST Hollywood rip-off in history
I liked "Wayne And Garth" when it was called Bill and Ted
I liked "Wayne Brady " when it was called Sammy Davis, Jr.
I liked "The Wayne Brady Show" when it was called The Arsenio Hall Show
**woo woo woo woo...***
I liked "Wedding Crashers" when it was called National Lampoon's Animal House
Actually, I haven't seen "Wedding Crashers", but I've read it is similar to the gross-out humor of "Animal House".
I liked "Whammy!: The All-New Press Your Luck" when it was called Press Your Luck
Don't get me wrong, this remake's not al that bad, but I prefer the 80's original.
I liked "Who Killed Laura Palmer?" when it was called Who Killed JR?
I liked "Who Shot Mr. Burns? (The Simpsons)" when it was called Who Shot J.R.? (Dallas)
I liked "Will & Grace" when it was called Ned & Stacey
Editor's note: Both shows starred Debra Messing.
I liked "Will & Grace" when it was called Are You Being Served?
I liked "Will Ferrell" when it was called Rodney Dangerfield
Both aren't the most beautiful celebrities in the world. Both played everyman soccer coaches in movies. Both play the same character in every film. Both are comedians. The list goes on...
I liked "Will Ferrell" when it was called Phil Hartman
Both do a Bill Clinton impersonation that's very difficult to diferentiate the actor from the real thing. I think Phill's Clinton schtick was much better than Will's Clinton schtick.

"Windtalkers" when it was called
Gallipoli
