"Layin' It On The Line", Favorite Lines from Eighties Songs, Songs Beginning with R
The purpose of this page is really pretty simple, I'm just looking for
people's favorite song lyrics, preferably 4 lines or less from a song. No, I
won't list entire songs or mail people song lyrics (don't even ask, I won't
respond). I'd like to list entire song lyrics to everyone's favorite songs,
but that's a blatent copywrite violation, and I don't need any nasty letters
in the mail, but a few lines from a song should be considered fair use. So
feel free to let us all know what your favorite lines from an eighties song
is.

Cherry ice cream smile,
I suppose it's very nice.
With a step to your left and a flick to the right,
You catch the mirror way out west.
You know you're something special and you look
like you're the best

Rock this place to the ground

I see a girl in the night, with a baby in her hands
Under an old street light, near a garbage can
Now she puts the kid away and she is going to get a hit
She hates her life and what she's done with it
There's one more kid that will never go to school
Never get to fall in love, never get to be cool
