"Yeah, Yeah, Yeah", by
Oaktown's .357An obscure old school hip hop clip I recently saw/taped on MTV 2 from 1989 that feature the all female rap trio dancing with flourescent skirts and tank tops. It's like a blend of "Parents Just Don't Understand" (The Fresh Prince & DJ Jazzy Jeff)with the props and "Push It" (Salt N' Pepa)with the late '80's dance moves. The video was off the hook!!!

Kim Wildei think this video is so 80s,i love this period especaily 1988,i think its the time where the best hits and best music was sang. i think that kim wilde is the best icon of the 80s,for all her achievemnts and success all over the world, from 'kids in america'to"love blonde"to 'you keep me hanging on"and ended her gold 80s period with 'cant get enough of your love' so kim wilde comes after madonna for her success back in the 80s

"You Can Call Me Al", by
Paul SimonThis song was too funny, and the video only made it better! Paul Simon and Chevy Chase walk into a white room and sit down. Chevy begins lip-synching to Simon's singing, which in itself is funny, because Chase makes great facial expressions. Simon sits there with a depressed look on his face. The two begin playing instruments (Simon on the pennywhistle, Chase on the bongo drums and trumpet), and perform a step-cross-step-cross dance move as they play the instruments. My brother and his friends used to imitate this video in Spanish class about 5 years ago, and the teacher told them to sit down. I've seen this video many times since 1986, and it gets better with age!

"You Can Call Me Al", by
Paul SimonI grew up with my father playing the album Graceland. On car rides, during dinner. My dad said if I can find the video of this song with Chevy Chase, that would be a great Christmas gift. That is why I love this video.

Paul SimonActually, I was curious as to if you know where I can find this video with Chevy Chase singing the song... If you have any information, please email me at dvarenhorst@sbcglobal.net Whether it be the physical video or a download video... I'd just love to see Chevy Chase lip singing again... it was my favorite back in the 80's... :) Thank you for your help!

Bon JoviI love this video because it depicts that both Bon Jovi and the 80's were all about the 3 H's: Hair, Hard rock, and Having a good time!!

"You Got Lucky", by
Tom PettyI love the beginning when they pull up in that neat futuristic apocalyptic car like mad max. Starts off like a cool movie or an episode from the hitchhiker the old HBO series. And then when he pushes the button on the radio the synthesizer music from the song starts and sends you off into the strange world they are exploring or re-discovering. And of course they uncover cool 80's video arcade games! Hey I've got around 8 or more 2hr video tapes I made back then of compilations from mtv. The quality ranges from poor to good. I'm almost considering getting rid of them. What do you think I should do with them?

Tom Petty and the HeartbreakersThis was just an awesome concept video that reminded me of my favorite movie at the time "Road Warrior." Tom & the band are driving through a wasteland when the find this tent filled with video games, tv's and all kinds of stuff. Some of the screens show the band playing the song live. It just really seemed to create a mood and atmosphere that intrigued me.

Kim WildeThe song itself is kinda cheesy, but the video moves with a fast paced beat and Kim Wilde shines in this one =)

"Young Turks", by
Rod StewartThis video seems to sum up the "seventies runaway" attitude dragged into the 80's. Plus being shot on film makes it that much more enjoyable. I was totally in love with the girl in the video as well.

"Your Wildest Dreams", by
The Moody BluesThis music video is powerful and meaningful. I think the love story in it is sweet and also very sad. I love it because not only is it an awesome song, but the video makes me cry every time I see it. It has great poetic significance.
