This is just a simple list of various trivial items about eighties movies. Feel free to send me additions you think would be interesting. I'm not really looking for goofs in particular, although I'll add them if they're fairly interesting and not overly trivial.

National Lampoon's Vacation
In reference to the vacation comment i just seen about the exit and having to cross the river..well the part in that is suppose to take place in east st louis is actually shot in the back lot at warner brother studios....so they didnt know about having to cross back.

When they're crossing the Mississippi River they are heading West across the Poplar Street bridge and heading into St. Louis, MO. But somehow they end up taking the wrong exit and wind up in East St. Louis, Illinois. They would of had to get off the bridge and re-cross the Mississippi in order to do that.

Also, in the background while they're crossing the bridge you can see tall buildings. There aren't any tall buildings in East St. Louis.

When Robert Redford is sitting at a cafe table with Glenn Close, and the camera shots alternate between them, the level of soda in his glass changes between high and low, while the straw in the glass moves back and forth, even though he's not drinking or touching the glass.
Nightmare on Elm Street
Towards the end when Freddy is chasing Nancy in the real world in her house, you'll notice that when Freddy falls on the stairs he is actually falling on a bed matress.

At the end when nancy's mother is standing at the front door and waves good bye the kids a hand reaches out from the little glass opening on the door and clearly pulls a dummy through the whole(it's about half the size of nancy's mother).

at the end when they are all on the bus and the brunette friend is leaning over the back seat her head skips from pointed down towards the occupants of the seat in front of her(lisa and jesse)to up when freddy's hand is supposed to be going through her body.(bad editing)
Nine to Five
On their way back from the Hospital, the ladies are pulled over by a cop. He says the car's tail light is out. But when you see them driving off, both tail lights on the car are working fine.
No Retreat No Surrender
When the fat boy is chasing Jason, and Jason stops to wait for the fat boy to jump over a fence, it's daylight, but when the fat boy falls on the skateboard, it's kinda dark outside. Strange...
