The concept is pretty easily, pick your ten favorite movies from the eighties. The hard part? I want JUST movies from the eighties, not movies you might have seen during the eighties. How interesting! Emilio Estevez looked interesting in the movie.
- 9. 16 Candles
What a movie! I was like 3 or 4 when this came out. Anthony Michael Hall's role as Farmer Ted was quite hilarious. Molly Ringwald still had her charm.
- 8. Pretty in Pink
Molly Ringwald, as Andie, did a great job in this movie, along with her others!
- 7. Top Gun
Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer rocked then, and they still rock today! My favorite songs are "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins and "Lead Me On" by Teena Marie.

Another Helen Slater 'hot movie'!
- 5. The Legend of Billie Jean
Helen Slater was great in this movie! In fact, I just love the theme, "Invincible" by Pat Benatar.

Drew Barrymore made a cute little girl.

Pretty scary, but cool. This movie was also an 'A' grade!

Workin' 9 to 5...This movie was out the year I was born. I was born September 6, 1980. I like where Dolly Parton tells off her boss, and threatens to pull out her gun and use it!

OH WHAT A FEELING! Flashdance was definitely one of the best movies of the 1980s. I remember it when I was 3 years old. I love the songs, "She's A Maniac" and "What A Feeling". Jennifer Beals made a great performance!

I love this movie! My favorite scene is where Kevin Bacon teaches the farmer to dance! "Let's hear for the boy, Let's give the boy a hand!"

This movie was great, but i have to admit if I was her I would have picked Ducky to begin with! He was so cool!

"I feel the need, the need for speed!" One of the greastest lines ever! Plus it really helps that like Tom Cruise was like a total hottie in this movie!

This movie was awesome my favorite scene is at the end where she gets her cake and the boy!

This movie is so awesome. It really showed what life is like. It had everything and everyone any other school has!

This probably the greatest movie ever made! I mean is it not any girls dream to get "dirty" with a cute dance teacher.

John Hughes is the man. These are both classics. I almost hate to put them down, but it is true.
- 9. Weird Science
Funny as all get out! Too many quotes to mention.
- 8. The Outsiders
The breeding ground for almost every " worth a shit " actor out right now. Greasers rule!
- 7. Risky Business
Every white boys dream!! What the Fuck, makes your future. Another outstanding soundtrack. Who wouldn't want to do IT on a train?
- 6. Better Off Dead
John Cusack is Gen X's Marlon Brando! Also, Curtis Armstrong is awesome in this movie.
- 5. Rock-N-Roll High School
Once again, you can't go wrong with the Ramones! Roger Corman's classic.
- 4. Over the edge
Matt Dillons' first film. Drugs, Cheap Trick, and vandalism of your own school; does it get any better?
- 3. Suburbia
Another obscure film ( for the lame!) Not the best acting, but a great soundtrack (Ramones, et al.)
- 2. Fast Times...
Nothing needs to be said about this classic. If you haven't seen it you should be shot!

Great soundtrack, realistic plot, and better yet, hard to find ! The best 80's film by far.

Only the best ending, or should I say endings of all time. The cast is perfect and truly the only movie I can watch over and over and over again and recite the ending by Tim Curry over and over again and still laugh at every line. "Yes, yes. I did it.
