Top Ten Lists of Eighties Movies
The concept is pretty easily, pick your ten favorite movies from the eighties. The hard part? I want JUST movies from the eighties, not movies you might have seen during the eighties. Also, try and avoid movies that came out after the eighties if possible, 1990 is pretty borderline, I won't scream too loudly if you add one that is from then...

Along with Fast Times at Ridgemont High, this movie was a time capsule for 80s culture. Best soundtrack of the 80s!
- 3. Back To The Future
The whole trilogy was great with such attention to detail! The first one is still the best though.
- 2. The Breakfast Club
What a cast! This movie is a classic for any era. Probably the most quotable movie ever. The casting was outstanding as Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, Molly Ringwald, and Ally Sheedy meshed together so well that you almost forget they're acting!
- 1. Fast Times at Ridgemont High
The fashions, music, and characters were the best depiction of 80s culture. Add to that early performances from Sean Penn, Nicholas Cage, Phoebe Cates, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Anthony Edwards, and Eric Stoltz. An absolute classic!
After looking at my list, they're all focused on teenage culture. I was a teenager back then, so I guess they all did a good job with hitting their target audience! LOL!
