Yes, I'm a big fan of Madonna--I grew up on her music. I'm also attracted to the "synthe-pop" of the early 80's. 80's music generally (and I do mean generally, concerning pop) has no deeper meaning behind it: it's pure joy and elation, which feelings are good enough for me.
