If there are two words that strike fear into any music lovers when they think of the eighties (or at least a strong loathing) these are the ones. I could have given this disc a 5 otherwise, this compilation has a lot going for it, the best remake of "Lean On Me" (there have been much worse made since Club Nouveau popularized it), the best remake of "You Keep Me Hanging On" (which has been made a hit every decade since the fifties almost like clockwork), and one of my favorite Wang Chung songs, "Let's Go!". "Here I Go Again" is also the only Whitesnake song I've ever liked (video especially, I'm a perv ok?), so I'm more than happy to have it here, a true eighties power ballad if there ever was one.
