 0. Introduction
--------------------------------------------------------------------

I welcome any comments you may have at: chuck@worcestermass.com. This
newsletter comes out once a month, or however often I get a chance to
put one together.

This is just a quick newsletter for the month of June, to let people
know that I am going to start putting out a newsletter again. If you
are receiving this newsletter in your inbox, you subscribed to the
old newsletter. I am now using a new service to allow me better
control of the newsletter.

Instructions for removal incase you no longer want the newsletter:
http://www.inthe80s.com/newsletter.shtml

or you can send email to listmanager@burstmail.com with
"unsubscribe eighties" in the body of the message.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
 1. Upcoming Eighties Events
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Last year's Culture Club/Human League/Howard Jones tour must have
been exceedingly successful, because several 80s groups appear to
be touring this year. Check out pollstar.com to see who's coming
to your town this year. I will have a complete list of major 80s
talent touring this summer in the next newsletter (next week or so).

--------------------------------------------------------------------
 2. What's New at ChuckyG's?
--------------------------------------------------------------------

A lot has changed since the last newsletter, more than I can list.
Probably the most important thing is that I have founded
inthe70s.com and inthe90s.com, and split off the misheard lyrics
and song parodies to form amiright.com.

So if you were wondering why I never had the time to write a
newsletter, now you know! It's also because of the multiple
changes the company in charge of the software I was using went
through (couldn't keep up with the changes).

 3. Favorite Misheard Lyrics This Month
--------------------------------------------------------------------
>From amiright.com

Duran Duran's, "Hungry Like the Wolf"

Misheard Lyrics:
Mouse is alive, with juices like wine

Correct Lyrics:
Mouth is alive, with juices like wine

--------------------------------------------------------------------
 4. Favorite Top Ten List
--------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll wait for the next newsletter for a top ten list.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
 5. Review Of The Month
--------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll wait for the next newsletter for a review, I might just stop
doing them. Although, I do want to review the new album, Pop Trash
by Duran Duran.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
 6. Trivia Quiz -=- Music & Movie Quotes
--------------------------------------------------------------------
No quiz in this issue, next issue will have one.

 7. Rant of the Month
--------------------------------------------------------------------

What do you want in a monthly newsletter? I got a lot of positive
feedback when I was running the newsletter before, so I'm assuming
this is a good start. If you have any ideas, let me know at
chuck@worcestermass.com.
