"Don't You (Forget About Me)", Favorite Songs from Movies, Songs Beginning with W
Movies in the eighties had some of the best soundtracks, and the most
memorable and popular songs at the time seem to have sometimes outshone the
movies themselves. As I get time I'll add more songs to this list, feel free
to send me your additions to the list. If you want, try and list which scene
during the movie the song appears during. Oh, and the whole "Valley Girl"
soundtrack get's an honorable mention since
it's packed full of great eighties songs. I also rank and review other
eighties soundtracks on my
Soundtracks of the
Eighties Page in case you are interested.

This song is played right near the beginning when the lead guy falls victim to claustrophobia because he has to pop out of a coffin.

"Where's The Fire?" by
Tim Feehan used in the movie

Unknown, pretty much a 1 hit wonder, Tim Feehan ripped up the opening credit of this mediocre show with a great high energy song that I still burn onto compilation CD's today.

"With One Look (The Wildest Dream)" by
Rupert Hine and Cy Curnin used in the movie
Better Off Dead
The song is the first song on the soundtrack, but last in the film. It runs over the credits. Personally, I think it's the best song on the soundtrack, because it features Cy Curnin of The Fixx. Special note: the version of the song that runs during the credits of the film, is not the version on the soundtrack. The version in the film is extended to fit the length of the credits. I believe they extended the guitar solo and sang the refrain an extra time.
