They started making these in the late 60's and still do, only the crunch berries are in more colors than red... all same flavor.

They used to come out with Cruncg Berries only during the Christmans season where I lived. Now it seems as though they never bring them out. Boo hoo.

The toys used to be so great. Even the brown paper wallets inside are better than what you get today. No more toys in the cereal...it's all "Log on to"..."Visit"...or "Check out_on the web" all using some "code" they give you. It's all an advertisement.

what needs to be re made is Deep Sea Crunch, not the Crunchberries which can still be found now.Deep Sea was the best.

From the Saturday morning cartoon vault, the first TV spot for Crunch Berries. Cap'n Crunch and crew search an uncharted island for the cereal, and meet the friendly Crunch Berry Beast. A plot by pirate Jean LaFoote to kidnap the beast is foiled. This aired on "George of the Jungle" over ABC (3/9/68). Crunch Berries will be 50 years old in '18. Also, a commercial for regular Cap'n Crunch, offering a Sea Dog toy whistle for 35 cents and box top. This aired on the "Beatles" cartoon show over ABC (10/8/66), a season two episode with the "HELP!" construction site opening.
