My mom would never buy me the cereal because it was little cookies. I used to love the commercial with the cop and robber dog that howled though.

Even today when my husband and I talk about this cereal I can't help but call it "Coo-ooo-kie crisp" (what the dog sounded like when it was howling).

On one of my cartoon tapes I used to have from the 80s, and I had a lot, one of the commercials was for Cookie Crisp was for Cookie Crisp with the cop and the robber. The cereal was yummy.

They did change it. It was much better before...won't even buy it anymore.

This cereal was one of my favs. I often think about picking up a box but since the comments say it doesn't taste the same I won't bother. They probably removed 1/2 the sugar.

The formula has changed from the old days... The chocolate tastes the same but the cookie is different. The cookie is more like a crispy puff but it was better when it was like a crunchy cookie.

I remember that cereal very well first Cookie Jarvis, then the cop, the crook, and the dog. Then just the dog howling "Coooookie Crisp!" Now Cookie Crisp has a fox.

It tastes like ass!! I miss the old Cookie Crisp. The dog, Chip, is nothing like before, and missing the cop and crook just is not the same. The flavor of the chocolate chips is bad, and the cookie is puffed. Man I wish I would have know things would change so much for the worst when I was a kid. Saturday mornings sux now with no cartoons and Cookie Crisp!!!!!
