I know the food world is all about being health-conscious these days, but the sad fact is that NONE of the General Mills pre-sweetened cereal line - particularly Golden Grahams & Count Chocula - have been the same since they went 'Whole Grain'. These poor kiddies coming up today will never know the sweet, sweet joys they've been robbed of. :(

A bit of trivia for ya'll: Homer Simpson sang the Golden Grahams jingle in the Simpsons episode where he goes into outer space with two astronauts. As their spaceship plummets toward a meteor (if I'm not mistaken), the astronauts are singing hymns while Homer sings the jingle.

I remembered my late Grandmother getting me addicted to Golden Grahams when I was a child. I love this cereal very much. You all are correct, the cereal don't taste the same as it did in the 80s. I will admit, it still taste good to me nowadays. I think I am going to get a box this week.

I LOVE GOLDEN GRAHAMS!!! They're one of my FAVORITE cereals! Of course, they don't taste as good as they did when I was little in the '80s, but I still love them. The thing I love to do? Put extra honey on them! YUMMY! :-D

No they don't taste as good as they did growing up, but this cereal is still my favorite cereal of all time, and I still eat it regularly.

Im not a big fan in this cereal. although I love the commercials of this cereal of the 90's

You said all things Golden on the Golden Grahams, Mom and Dad just finished going way past their Golden Anniversary!( they've made it 60 years as of Thanksgiving! ) (mom is no longer as of that date )

They taste exactly like graham crackers, but despite what they said in the 80s commercials, they DON'T stay crispy in milk.

One of my faves to this day! I love em soggy! LOL
