Along with many cereals, this cereal is very tasty. I had it as a child on and still eat it sometimes.

This ranks right up there with Honey Smacks for cereal with weird textures. I love the way Corn Pops take on this weird, slimy consistency in milk. "I gotta have my sugar hit!"

Kellogg's introduced (then) Sugar Pops in 1957. Cowboy star Andy Devine was first on the box. 1962 to '67, it was cartoon Sugar Pops Pete. 1968 to '70, a whip-snapping cowboy was pictured. Most of 1970s, a cowboy carrying backpack was pictured., and a cartoon cowboy was in TV commercials, late 1970s.
