I would love to know if anyone has found these purses!!!!!! I have looked all over the internet and ebay no luck!!!!

I have one in maroon that i got at a thrift store. I love it!!!! Holds so much.

I loved loved my daveys purse, I too have looked on ebay for several years and I have never seen one. I had one in about 86 I think.

I STILL HAVE MY DAVEY'S BAG!!!! I've had it since middle school so that would make it approx. 24/25 years old. It's a plaid one with a little bit of wear on the bottom but other than that, it's still in great condition. I had a olive green nylon one but it finally bit the dust =(

I felt so lucky to have a Daveys purse. I graduated from HS in 1971. The one I had was marron leather with wood and metal handle. I too, have search to find one.

I loved these bags never had one until I found a super cool grey suede purse on ebay from the 70's with a turn lock clapse in the front and an adjustable strap, not like the 80's bags but totally awesome. Had no idea it was a davey's bag until I looked inside and saw the label. It expands a bit like an accordian style bag and holds a ton, I love it and it is so well made.

I have hunted for quite sometime on how to find a Daveys bag in a solid or a plaid. If anyone has any info. or would like to sale one please let me no at sonyaamshoff@gmail.com Luck for all who is looking for one!!!!

When I was young, I got a few Davey's bags. Sadly, they're I don't know where. But I visited the store in 1999 and the owner sold me a few for a low price. He was not selling actively but had stock left. Sadly again, he died tragically in a car accident in late 1999. He was a good and kind man. The company was named after his wife, Davida, who has since died. Since then, I have found a few Davey's handbags online. More than anything else, they comfort my nostalgia and remind me of the happy times from my childhood.

It would be so great if "they" made these purses again. All fads come around again..and this would be a purse that would sell! I bought Dr. Scholls clogs on ebay and now just need a Daveys purse!

I came across one in a yard sale..had no idea what is was till i got home and try to find online, nobody has any. Its green and light brown with zipper on front,anybody interested???

I had a Davey's bag in late 60's or very early 70. It was red, whit and blue suede. The blue overlapped with a toggle that made it look like a flag! I loved that purse. Wish I could at least find a picture of it.

Where are all these Davey's bags? I had one in the late 60's. Everyone at my high school had one.They have to out there somewhere. Mine was the blue leather one. I was a shoulder bag, with a brass American Eagle on it.It had a toggle closure. I want one so bad. Where are they all? I had one I got in 8th grade and carried it all my high school years. I graduate in 94 and my plaid Davey's has been the best purse I have ever had and I would love to have another but I can't find one.

I worked at Davey's factory in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1980 and 1981, during the summer, on the folding machine. We were right next to the gluing machione, and it was hot! The big customer, if I remember correctly, was Shop for Pappagallo. There was a European designer who did the designs. I'm surprised it's out of business, the handbags were popular. They were all leather.
