She would sit at her desk while we would have study period and play with her clogs and sandals by dropping the on the wood floor awl it drove me out off my mind at first then I started to focous more on her clogs the i loved being in her class well I just love girls wearing clogs it just a cool thing girls don't stop!!!!!!

In the late '70s my favorite outfit was khaki culottes, green and tan striped knee-socks, a cowl-neck sweater, and my awesome brown clogs. Clop, clop, clop...very Eight Is Enough.

I think it was probably 8th grade. Our school didn't have room so they staggered the times. (i was going to school at 10.30 and getting home at dark)I was tall anyway but i loved my clogs.I had a class in the *old* part of the school (where most of the older kids had classes) I was going from lvl 1 to 3 and was late and the teacher was horrid. Someone kicked my clog off as i hit top floor.Yes, my clog was maliciously kicked all the way down to the first floor.

Oh wow, I just loved clogs in the late 70s and early 80s. As a guy I had fewer choices but still owned quite a few pairs. I loved the hardness of the wood--anything in my path was just crushed flat. I also liked the tread. It seems small in these days of deep boot treads but it was quite aggressive in its day. It was so hot to just step on something casually an mash it, walking on after leaving my clog tread print in it and tracking it after me. Then Mia brought out lug soled clogs and those were like clogs on steroids. Still the unyielding wooden sole but deep boot tread under it. I finally got a pair of sandal clogs with lug soles and I was invincible. I walked in everything on the floor in the cafeteria and enjoyed it all. From grapes to entire dropped meals, my clogs would just crush it and I would walk away as if nothing happened. Later I would prop my feet up or cross my legs and show off what I had done. I also walked in dirt and mud without a care. My friends would actually ask me to walk on things because they wanted to see what the lugs and wood soles could do. I always did it, no matter where we were--school, the movies, the mall. Once I was at a picnic and I stepped on a ton of things in the yard. Grapes, cups, baked beans, hamburgers and rolls, macaroni salad. If someone dropped it I would step on it sooner or later. I really enjoyed it if I could stand on it while I talked to someone. I did it a few times that day, and only one person looked down when they heard the squish noise. It wasn't someone who know what i liked to do underfoot so they just tried to ignore it as I shiften my foot as we talked. I even looked down at it, lifted my clog to see what it was and then kept standing on it to let them know I knew I had crushed something. One of my friends came over to ask about what I was standing on. He enjoyed letting others know what I did. I had to tell him it was the main part of a burger, with bun and toppings. He asked me if I had felt it and I had to say I did, but just barely, that the combination of the hard soles and deep treads didn't give much feel of what I walked on. When I left that party I walked across a big wet spot on the patio, then into the house and out the front door. The water got everything in my clog treads wet so when I walked through the kitchen and living room I left really noticeable tracks from all the food and mud I had walked on. I looked behind me, of course--I always did and saw the clear tracks of my clogs, so I got out fast. Later one of my friends said the parents were really mad about the tracks, but that they had no idea who had done it. Others were wearing clogs that day, and my pair had a smaller heel print than most, as they were a slightly high heel, so the parents thought it was a girl that did it. If anyone wants more clog stories please ask in here and I will try to oblige.
