Description: The Coca-Cola shirts were the most popular item. They were red and off-white, long-sleeved, collared, heavy cotton jerseys that were slightly longer in the back. "Coca Cola" was written in off-white/white on the front, on top of a wide, red stripe. They were similar to the Benetton shirts.

My brother had a Coke shirt that I used to steal from him all the time. I loved it!!

I had the coolest Coke rugby shirt. White collar on black body. Black text on white band. A relative brought it for me from the States along with a white denim Gap jacket (way before anyone knew what the Gap was). Talk about Nirvana, I was that Canadian kid strutting like a peacock.

I had the red/white rugby and the jeans. So cool. I had just started dating a guy and he showed up in a Pepsi rugby. I thought that was the tackiest shirt ever--how dare anyone wear a Pepsi shirt when Coca-Cola was the best. I believe that was the beginning of the end of that relationship!!

So glad this site exists. I was telling a young buck at work about Coca-Cola shirts and he sorta didn't believe me. Anyway, the very first chick I made out with at college (Fall of 1987 - Iowa State) was wearing a red/white Coca-Cola rugby and jeans mini-skirt. Good golly....what a hot look that was. Good times.
There is a Coca Cola Store on the Strip in Las Vegas. It has the 80's Coca Cola shirts in adult sizes!
