I had one in really cool like blue to purple. Damn..the weird stuff they came up with to sell. Those were the days when you could goof off and not be so serious.

I was born near the end of the eighties, but grew up admiring the hypercolor shirt my father had. Light purple on one side, pinkish on the other. It doesn't work anymore, but I still wear it. There's an American outfitter of some sort that has their own color changing shirts.

I had a T-shirt that changed from blue(when cool)to purple (when warm). My ex sister-in-law ruined it when she put it in the dryer. It was "stuck" with blue and purple areas, and wouln't change any more.

I found one just like the one my SIL ruined on Ebay. I bought it, and it works fine. I also have 2 others--purple that changes to blue, and a gray/aqua one. The aqua gets lighter and the gray turns yellow when warm. The only thing that saves these shirts is to hand wash in cold water, do not wring out, hang on a hanger and let drip dry. Do not dry in the dryer or outside on a clothesline in the sun.

"Hypercolor" - I totally remember this! I had one that was a sweatshirt. I wonder how this fabric worked? So COOL! I remember holding my hands on the shirt to leave handprints.
