I never got a "real" pair, but I got knock-offs and painted a blue square on the back...so pathetic! :)

I had a black pair and a white pair. But, something I never understood...why were they so narrow?! Grr.

I had them in two colors, navy and probabbly purple.

I loved these shoes. These were very popular when I was in highschool. All the girls wore them & if you did not have a pair of these, people would look at you strange. LOL I only had 1 pair. I can remember to this day sitting in class & one of the popular girls noticing I had a pair & giving me this strange look like how dare you wear such a brand when your not one of us(popular kids) LOL

We use to wear them with out shoe laces..LOL

my mom wore these all of the time. I hated these with a passion. She got me a pair and I threw them. For the person asking about the narrow they come in AAA AAAA and AAAAA which means narrow triple narrow and quad narrow. I know when I worked at nordstrom I had to order these for a woman with a 4 narrow foot. She bought everyone left in the whole company.

Keds only last about a month on me.

The reasons these shoes are so popular is because they are comfortable and very simple. They made them in mens for a while and have just started making them in mens again. It doesn't matter to me either way, if I can't find them in mens I will buy the womens.

These were the best! Take the laces out and they still stayed on your feet. The canvas ones were easy to clean- just throw them in the washer with some bleach. And no way was I going to be caught dead without that blue patch on the back of the heel. Uh uh!

First I got the canvas ones, then I got the leather ones. Oh yeah, I was cool in the 1980's and 90's.

Not all Keds Sneakers were comfortable.

I had and still have a huge obsession with Keds. I had close to 15 pairs in high school and have at least 25 pairs today. I am glad they are making them pretty close to the way they did in the 80s. For a while there they were cheaply made and didn't look, smell or even taste the same. I know that sounds weird, but it's part of my obsession. LOL!

What the fresh hell is this obsession with Keds!? They taste good?? I'm gonna tell my friend to stop buy them for her little girls. Ked fetish or what!?
