I could never afford a Members Only jacket back then, but I would often wear one that belonged to cute guy I was in school with! Solid black, have to admit it looked better on him than on me!

My mom was too cheap to buy me a REAL members only jacket, so I had a knock off with a label under the pocket that said "MAN'S CLUB" - it was Salmon, OK yeah it was basically pink. Nice light-weight spring/fall jackets. Ive always wanted one but am such a procrastinator. Then I finally ran across one in a shop a while ago and it was the wrong size.
These jackets are making a huge comeback. :D Howeverrr, the new ones have a pretty steep price tag, 79.99. x( I'm 14, saved up foreverrr to get the brand new ones, and have been wearing it since I bought it last November. They look especially good with the sleeves up halfway. I've been rockinnn' that look since the weather started getting warmer. xD
I remember these were all the rage...However you only were cool if you had one in black!
I think I bought a cheapie one from K-Mart that was under than "MAN'S CLUB" Label. My brother used to take mine and wear it all the time.
Holy crap I had one of these in the third grade! It was grey and my mom sewed a ghostbusters patch on the shoulder for halloween and I went to a kiddy party dressed like one.
I never owned one of these jackets myself, but my grandfather sure did...every color. He wore them well into the 1990's too.
I can't remember if my mother had one.
In the 80's about $20 and they were a straight fit. Now they are fitted, seem smaller and shorter in length. Back then there was a country music group, don't remember the name that endorsed the jackets on tv. I think it was just before Garth Brooks became popular.
Still have mine. It's black, and bought on purpose to be a bit too big. I wore it this winter at work, and lots of co-workers asked me where I got it. I told them that it was nearly 30 years old. Now it's in the closet with the rest of my fall/winter clothes zipped into a garment bag til next fall/winter.
These are kind of early '80s, aren't they? I remember them from 6th and 7th grade, after that, only adults seemed to wear them (my dad still has one, me thinks).
I had a black one in elementary school. Probably a knock-off but, then again, I wasn't aware, at the time, that there was a craze to begin with.
Just started wearing mine again since winter has arrived. Bought a royal blue one off Ebay. Should be arriving soon. I still love these jackets!!
I had a light pink one I inherited from my sister. I completely wore it out!
I now have 4 of these jackets. I got lucky in Goodwill a few weeks ago. I found a very nice purple one, and a light periwinkle blue one, both for $20.00 (Same store, for the both of them). They are 1980s vintage, and in near-mint condition. Now I want to find a teal and a beige or taupe.
I believe I had 3 of these, one tan, one black and my favorite, a light sky blue color. Gosh, why did all of my cool 80s gear have to disappear over the years from my possession? Guess they got thrown out, donated, given away...who knows?!
I love Members Only Jackets. I own a forest green and a burgundy jacket. I never either jacket without Zipping It All The Way Up. Also, my neck strap is buttoned at all times.

Recently I obtained two additional Members Only Jackets; one spring green and one navy. I am going to Zip them all the way up every single time I wear them. Also, my neckstrap will be B.uttoned
