I have been wearing overalls since I was a kid! I still love wearing them! They are so comfortable and durable. Great for camping etc. I still see a lot of people wearing them, so I don't think they really went totally out of style. Anything goes today.

Nice thread. I remember when overalls first came into populariy, when I was in the 6th grade or so. My first pair was Guess, still love the look today. Me and my wife both still wear them, she wears them normal, I usually go for the bib down with the straps connected look!

In junior high in the early 80's, virtually every girl and a few boys had a pair of overalls. OshKosh and Washington Dee Cee were most popular. There was also an exceptionally cute brand Landlubber that had orange buttons and crisscross straps and a rear zipper instead of side buttons.

I have quite a few pair of overalls but my favorite pair is a pair of Oshkosh overalls I have. They are faded, few holes in them, falling apart but they are so soft and comfortable and I like wearing them around the house or in the yard. They are beat up but I have other pairs I wear when I go out (liberty overalls, squeeze, gap, ect) so I wear them for more formal occasions and I got a few compliments on them too.

My favorite woman's bib overall from the 70's was the Landlubber. They mostly came in denim with straps that buttoned to the bib with big orange buttons and zipped and buttoned in the back with a big orange button.
