cringe? Wayfarers are hot, many celebs are wearin' em today, I just got some knockoff Wayfarers, look pretty close to the real thing.
only three comments on this? Jeez I thought the Raybans were a big deal in the day. Ian Stanley was effortlessly cool sitting with his feet propped on the table and his Wayfarers on.
lots of rock and pop stars wore Wayfarers. I remember seeing them on Rob Fisher of Naked Eyes as well.
This was another 1950s style that was revived in the early 80s. In the 70s, aviators were the standard glasses style, worn by everyone. I remember Raybans being "the" thing to wear in 1983, ideally on a neck hanger.
I was given a pair, but I gave them to a friend.
I still have my Aviators. I wear them while driving my school bus.
